Person Centred Psychology & Allied Health is an established and thriving practice located in leafy South Melbourne. At conception, our practice had a strong focus on working with clients with eating disorders, disordered eating, and body-image concerns and we are proud of the excellent reputation our team has maintained. We work in a HAES informed manner with clients across the eating disorder spectrum, seeing clients from adolescence into later adulthood. Our eating disorder team is led by founding director Deborah Newburn, and includes a bunch of passionate psychologists and a superstar dietitian who is with the team four days a week.  

To complete our team, which sits within our broader general mental health team, we are seeking an experienced eating disorder psychologist to help us meet our waitlist demands.  

If you are passionate about working with this client population, want to work within a passionate and energetic team, and enjoy participating in regular peer supervision, this might just be the role for you.

  • Regularly engage in professional development and self-directed learning and are a credentialed eating disorder clinician.

We will provide you with: 

  • Quarterly in house professional development workshops. 

  • Opportunity to attend subsidised external training. 

  • Full administrative support including reception services, management and maintenance of your appointment diary and new client allocations, and more!  

  • A range of peer supervision groups which you may opt in to depending on your areas of interest and stage of career, including fortnightly eating disorder supervision. 

  • Internal supervision with a senior Psychologist for Clinical Registrars. 

  • Flexible working arrangements with a focus on work/life balance. 

  • A generous percentage of client’s fees.
