Psychologist position

(EXPERIENCED OR CLINICAL REGISTRAR)

Person Centred Psychology & Allied Health is a medium size practice which is emerging from a period of busy growth. Well established in leafy South Melbourne, we are proud to be a valued part of the local community. Led by directors Anthony and Deb, Person Centred Psychology & Allied Health is evolving. Born out of the desire to create an environment where every person connected to the services feels valued, we remain committed to the well-being of our team, clients, and community.

Over the previous two years we have welcomed a number of early career psychologists who have brought with them a wealth of knowledge in up-to-date research, as well as a fun and welcoming energy. We are now in a position to really fine tune our practice to remain a leading place to work, and to add clinicians who will continue to ensure we can meet referral needs and contribute to a workplace culture of learning, reflective practice, excitement about the profession and the ability to bring evidence informed practice to their clients.

Within the team sits a smaller specialist eating disorder team made up of psychologists and dieticians. We have a number of opt-in peer supervision groups including child and adolescent supervision, eating disorder supervision, general peer supervision, and a early career support group. The team also has a number of general adult psychologists who are able to build caseloads that largely suit their interests and passions. We also provide a home for the Conscious Combat Club, a trauma informed kick-boxing group for women.

In the second half of 2023 the team will be offered the opportunity to be trained in FIT, and a monthly supervision will be provided to all interested team members.

Person Centred Psychology & Allied Health are currently accepting applications from Child & Adolescent Psychologists, General Adult Psychologists, Eating Disorder Psychologists and Couples Counsellors.
