WEEKEND PSYCHOLOGIST

(Saturday and/or Sunday)

 
 

Person Centred Psychology & Allied Health is an established and thriving practice located in leafy South Melbourne. We have established an excellent reputation for providing high quality psychological therapy and therefore receive an abundance of referrals from clinics in our community. We are seeking clinicians wanting to work weekends (Saturdays and/or Sundays) with weekday shifts also available if desired, to continue to service those in need in our community.

 

We are seeking:

• Experienced Psychologists,

• Clinical Registrars,

• Couples Counsellors, and

• Eating Disorder Psychologists

to provide clients with a high standard of care, while being rewarded with regular supervision, the ability to build your caseload to suit your interests and more!

  • Are inspired by using evidence-based treatment that you tailor to your client, facilitating them reaching their goals

  • Have oodles of integrity, take pride in the great job you are doing and are passionate about your clients.   

  • Have experience working with a range of clients including those presenting with trauma, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, grief, adjustment disorders and other mental health challenges. 

  • Enjoy being an integral part of a team that enjoys doing things together including celebrating birthdays and special occasions, team lunches and dinners, attending sporting or social events, and occasionally even heading away for a long weekend together! Optional, we promise! 

 

We will provide you with:

  • Quarterly in house professional development workshops.

  • Opportunity to attend subsidised external training.

  • Full administrative support including reception services, management and maintenance of your appointment diary and new client allocations, and more! 

  • Internal supervision with a senior Psychologist included for Clinical Registrars

  • A range of peer supervision groups which you may opt in to depending on your areas of interest and stage of career.

  • Flexibility with your choice of preferred working-week day in addition to Saturday shift (if required)

  • The ability to build your caseload to suit your interests and areas of expertise.

  • A generous percentage of client’s fees.

  • The option to join us as a salaried employee or contractor. 

  • Multidisciplinary team including Psychologists, Dieticians, Trauma Informed Kickboxing classes for Women and Body Peace Yoga courses for adults and adolescents.
